ENTENDE SE POR CURRÍCULO NACIONAL O CONJUNTO DE APRENDIZAGENS E COMPETÊNCIAS A DESENVOLVER PELOS ALUNOS AO LONGO DO ENSINO BÁSICO DE ACORDO COM OS OBJECTIVOS CONSAGRADOS NA LEI DE BASES DO SISTEMA EDUCATIVO PARA ESTE NÍVEL DE ENSINO,  APROVADAS PELO MINISTRO DA EDUCAÇÃO".

DESENVOLVIDO PELAS DIRECÇÕES REGIONAIS DE EDUCAÇÃO, AGRUPAMENTO DE ESCOLAS, MUNICÍPIOS, ENTIDADES LOCAIS/REGIONAIS.
